TaricHive
TaricHive is a multi-country customs tariff database. It takes the tariff data that customs authorities publish, collected by taric-opendata, and makes it searchable: in a web front-end for people, and through a connector for AI assistants.
What the front-end offers
- Search and browse by code or description, across sources, with the nomenclature tree.
- Tariff detail for a code: its measures grouped into duties, restrictions, quotas and reference prices, with conditions, footnotes, excluded origins, legal notes and linked legislation. For any date, not only today.
- Declaration validation: the conditions, certificates and documents a line needs, by origin and preference. There is no duty calculator; the measures and rates are shown as published.
- Rulings: EU binding tariff information and UK advance tariff rulings for the code in view.
- Meursing: the composition grid that the duties on processed agricultural goods are keyed on.
For AI assistants
The same data is available to an AI assistant as a set of tools: searching the nomenclature, reading the measures on a code, comparing countries, checking a quota, validating a declaration line. See Connect an AI assistant.
The data
Every source is public data, republished by its customs authority. The licence position of each source, and what redistribution each authority permits, is in taric-opendata's data licences. TaricHive is not an authentic source: for a binding answer, the customs authority's own publication decides.
Getting access
TaricHive runs at app.opentaric.eu and needs an account. Access is given per person; ask the team
that runs it.
